2017 NBA All Star Weekend in New Orleans

The NBA All Star Weekend is in NEW ORLEANS and will be on February 17-19, 2017!
It was. However, the NBA has moved the weekend from Charlotte over a transgender bathroom law that NC will not change. Charlotte will get the game back in 2019 pending the law being changed.
The NBA All-Star Weekend and Game will be at the Smoothie King Center where the Pelicans Play.

Only once a year do you get to see all the best players in the World on ONE court. This is it.  
NBA All Star Saturday night is a great event which you get the 3 point shoot out and dunk contest by NBA stars.
This is the All-Star game for the first and second year players. They compete against each other and is fun to watch the new NBA players battle it out for bragging rights.
This Celebrity Game will be played at the Mercedes Benz Superdome. You can purchase tickets at www.AllStarWeekendNewOrleans2017.com/tickets
Since both events will be televised on TNT or ESPN the answer is yes. The celebrity game will be played from around 7pm at the Superdome and then you might miss a little start of the Rising Stars, but you can make it to smoothie center in time.
Children under the age of 2 are admitted free of charge. Children under 2 years of age are not guaranteed a seat and may be required to sit on a parent's/guardian's lap. Children 2 and over must have ticket.
